I then put the rendered scenes into GoCubic. You just run the script and walk away and let Thea do its thing for however long - but you don't have to be there while it does it (e.g., overnight). The big deal here is that nige generously clued me into Kerkythea scripts that allow me to do "automatic" BSD rendering of multiple scenes from cubicpanout.rb in Thea. I tried using pano2vr for the cubicpanout output, but have not yet figured out what settings to use for a "non-overlapping" set of pictures. Twilight is my app, I have never done animation before because of lengthy rendering time required that scares me the most, some people said take a few days to render and produce only a few seconds movie! What rendering app are you intending to use? I used Thea render, and created the animation path 12 seconds, 30 degrees each second, 15 frames per second. The thing is you need to rotate the product, not the camera that way the reflections interact and give a better sense of you controlling the rotation at the end.
